Chattanooga Tournament

 We all got to go to Taylor's next tournament, which was in Chattanooga.  Sydney was off of her crutches at this point and could travel a whole lot easier.  It was a short trip- we went up Saturday AM and came back Sunday afternoon! They played several games on Saturday, we got to go to dinner and hang out at the hotel Saturday night, played two more games on Sunday, and that was it!

Taylor- Dance!

Taylor had a rising-6th-grade dance at the middle school!  All 4 elementary schools that feed into the middle school can come, so it was a fun way to celebrate the end of 5th grade.  I helped chaperone, so I got to witness the craziness.  Here are some pics!

Taylor- Optimist Club Award

 I am so proud of Taylor.  Back in March, I got an email saying that Taylor was chosen as "Student of the Year" for her school for an award through our local Optimist Club.  Each school in the county selects a 5th grade girl and boy (and also 8th grade, and then 11th grade).  Taylor's grade has 200 people in it, so this was a huge honor!

They served breakfast, a local CFA owner spoke, and then they were given their awards.  I am so, so proud of her!

Knoxville Tournament

 Taylor's team played in a basketball tournament in Knoxville, TN the last weekend of April/first weekend of May.  It's a huge tourney with teams from all over!  I stayed back with Sydney, since she was recovering from her surgery.  Stephen and Taylor made the trek.  They had a blast!
