Parker- Basketball

Parker started playing on a new travel team in October.  His old coach from rec league was asked to coach for this program, and Parker and two of his teammates made the switch.  The boys are all really good independently, but coming together as a team always takes time.  They've come a long way in a couple of months!  I see good things for their future.

Parker is a very different player than Taylor, which is fun to watch.  Taylor is more of an offensive player- she's more of a shooter and you won't find her rolling around on the floor for the ball.  Parker is more of a defensive player- he isn't the highest point scorer, but he is fast and isn't afraid to wrestle for the ball.  It's fun to watch the two different sides of the game!

Tybee Island

We continued our tradition of heading to the beach on Christmas Day.  This year... Tybee Island!  It was FRIGID, so our time on the beach was minimal.  Tybee Island seems to purposely stay un-commercialized and has kind of a "back in the day" feel to it.  It was nice, and Savannah was only a 20 minute drive away, so that was fun to visit as well!
