Visit from Swedish Family!

 Stephen's aunt and cousin from Uppsala, Sweden- the ones we got to see this summer- decided to pay us a visit here in the US!  They stayed for a couple of weeks, with part of the time being down in south Georgia.  I didn't take a lot of pictures myself, but we had a fun time hanging out with them!

Taylor- Basketball Camp in Athens

 Taylor was invited to another basketball camp in late August that was in Athens!  It was called the Fab 48- they invited 48 girls from around mid and north Georgia, and parts of South Carolina.  It was similar to the Charlotte camp, except this time it was 2 days, and involved more fun activities, speakers, etc.

Taylor and her partner won one of the games they did- kind of an "around the world" game.

On a side note, this was a huge honor- Taylor was recognized as one of the top c/o 2029 players in Georgia!

Wrapping up Spring/Summer Basketball

Taylor had a weird spring/summer basketball season, having to be out for a couple of months for her broken wrist.  It took a minute for her coach to play her back like normal, which really stunk, but... it is what it is.  She finished the season strong, going 3-0 in this one tourney and getting back to starting, playing tough, scoring points, etc.

Taylor- Basketball Camp in Charlotte

Taylor was invited to attend a GYBC (Girls Youth Basketball Circuit) camp in Charlotte, NC in August.  

She and Stephen went up to Charlotte the night before the camp (which was all day on a Sunday), and they made a little trip of it!

The camp was from 9-5 on Sunday, and they did a lot of drills, dribbling skills, and scrimmages.

Her friend and teammate, Ella, also attended.

After the camp, the organization wrote this about Taylor, which I thought summed her skills up well!

Back to School!

Welp, summer is over!!  It was a really good summer that seemed to fly by, especially once July came around.  I went back to work the last full week of July, and the kiddos started on July 1st!
