Taylor's birthday party

When your birthday is early in the week, it seems like you just celebrate all week long, doesn't it?

Two presents came in the mail in one day.  Lucky girl!

Taylor's bday party was on Saturday.  We headed to our local Chick-fil-a to celebrate!  Eight of her closest friends and/or siblings got to come celebrate with her.  They had a special reserved table for the girls (and boy) with balloons, and they each got a kid's meal, ice cream, toy, a visit by the cow himself, play time on the playground, and cupcakes.

This is big, y'all.  She used to be the one running the opposite direction of the costumed animal!

Big thanks to her school's CFA spirit nights, when the cow comes to visit at dismissal.  That did the trick!

Sunday evening, we met my parents in Winder for an early dinner to celebrate her bday!  She got some really cute outfits from them, we got some good food, and the waiters came out to sing to Taylor!  They brought her an ice cream sundae.

Sibling Rivalry

The sibling rivalry has already developed in our household between the girls.  I could probably write a whole blog post on examples one day.  These two pictures from each girl's birthdays sum it up pretty well!  Most situations aren't fun, but these two make me laugh.

Taylor is 5!!

My sweet Taylor turned 5 on Tuesday!!  Poor thing, she has to wait through alllllll the September birthdays, wondering when her birthday will be here, counting down the days (months?).  Finally, her big day was here!

Stephen was flying out early Tuesday morning, so we celebrated Monday evening.  Taylor got to unwrap her presents from us and eat a cupcake.

She had wanted a Frozen dress!

She didn't ask for this, but she was so excited! Anna and Kristoff dolls.

 The next morning, she woke up to her decorated room and immediately put on her new Frozen dress.   And necklace. :)

I got to go and eat lunch with her at school, and bring her class some mini-cupcakes!  Taylor picked her friend Brennan to eat with her.

That night, Stephen was gone, so we decided to go eat at Chick-fil-A for dinner.  It was their school's spirit night, so there were lots of friends and teachers there.  I think she enjoyed her day!

Thanksgiving Break!

We had such a fun Thanksgiving Break!  I often worry that I won't be able to entertain the three kiddos very well, but this week was no such problem.

We went holiday bazaar visiting...

We had a few playdates...

We played lots of board games...

We got some shirts embroidered...

We played with legos...

Our elf came back...

We are all decorated for Christmas...

We celebrated Thanksgiving, with my parents and later with friends...

We had some sleepovers...

We celebrated a UGA victory...

We rearranged some furniture...

The only furniture that was here before was the crib, and we even moved that.

We did other fun things like game night with friends, watching movies, decorating the outside of our house with lights, lots of soccer matches, and more.

All in all, it was a great break, and I was sad that the girls had to go back to school!
