April, slow down!

This month has flown by.  Completely.  How is it already almost May??

In lieu of blogging about specific events, you're going to get a fun lump of April goodness, all in one spot!

We met friends for dinner at CFA.  Parker ended up rubbing his entire spoonful of ice cream in his hair.  Everyone around us busted out laughing, and Mr. Brian saved the day to clean him up.  (I do blame him for encouraging Parker to do that, so it serves him right).

A fun dinner at church.  This was the Battle Against the Sexes game.

We ran a 10K!  Holy cow, I forgot how long 6 miles was... especially with a lot of hills.

Fire Station Tour

The local MOMs group planned a little outing at the nearby fire station on the Friday of spring break.  Ooooooh boy... Parker was looking forward to this all week!  It didn't disappoint.  He got to see real firemen, 2 firetrucks, a really tall ladder on top of the truck, and even an ambulance!  Raegan got to hang out with us, too!

Afterwards, we ventured to a park to have a picnic and play.  It was coooooooold and windy!  Needless to say, we didn't stay too long.

When we got home, our friends Angie, Nathan, and Natalie came over to play.  The kiddos played for a good 3 hours and had a blast!  Here are some pics of the little bird feeders we made.
