1st Day of School for Parker

Parker started at his new school this past Monday!  He's in the pre-K prep class and is going five days a week!  There were tears at Open House, but he hasn't shed one tear since school started.  (this was a BIG shocker to me)  Yesterday, he even said, "I miss my school!" when he got home.  New school for the win!

They have a private facebook group where they post pictures every day, so here are a couple of shots from his class.

Hangin' Out

The girls are in the swing of school now, but Parker hasn't started his yet.  He and I have been doing some fun little activities and outings while his sisters slave away at school.

Whoa!

We've been busy after school.  My friend's two daughters are coming home with us every afternoon until their mom gets home from work.  We do mandatory homework/reading time, and then it's a good 1.5 hours of play!

First Day of School

The 2016-2017 school year has begun!

Monday evening, the girls had their open house.  Even though we already knew who their teachers were, we were excited to see them or meet them (in Sydney's teacher's case), and see who all was in their classes!

Taylor got the teacher she had wanted!

Wednesday morning, the girls headed to school!  But not before we took the obligatory first day of school pictures. (and I have to give a shout out to my friend Monica, who came over to keep Parker so I could take the girls to school in a calm fashion!  You're the best!)

We took Taylor to her class first.  She's lucky, in that not only did she get her favorite person as her teacher, but several of her best little buddies are in her class, too!

Sydney didn't luck out so much with having her good friends in her class.  There is one little friend- the rest of the class, she's never had class with before!
