Easter!

Easter!  Hard to believe the Easter season has come and gone.  We had some fun little events leading up to the holiday, and we hosted my family over for Sunday lunch on Easter Day.  I'll let the pictures tell the story!

Church Fun

Last weekend, our church hosted a family camping night!  Now, I am NO camper.  My idea of camping consists of an air-conditioned hotel room.  So, I wasn't super thrilled about the idea of sleeping in a tent... but, we still wanted to participate in some of the fun!

After Taylor's Friday evening soccer game, we grabbed some grub and the headed back to the church for some s'mores.  They had the campfire going, people were making all kinds of fire-toasted goodies.  There were board games inside, ping pong, painting, balls, human-sized Jenga, soccer, corn hole.  We stayed waaaay too late and our happy kids at church turned into craaaanky kids at home.

Saturday morning, we woke up early (in our own beds) and headed back to the church for the pancake breakfast and sunrise service.  My sweet friend, Alexis, did a devotional and members from the band played some acoustic songs.  Afterwards, we hung out with friends until Sydney's soccer game at 10:30.

It was so much fun!  It made me allllmost want to camp out next time.  Maybe.

Spring Break

Spring break has come and gone, and now we're back in the swing of things.  Hallelujah!!!  Just kidding... kind of.  I sure do love my kids, but it's exhausting trying to keep them entertained!

We stayed around town and didn't do too much, which was kind of nice.  No soccer practices or games, no weekly tee ball practice, no small group obligations led to open days to fill.

Crazy weather:

 The girls spent the night at Grandmom and Dee-Dad's house one night last week.  This was seen on the ride home.  The girls had a blast, hanging out, going to a farm, and seeing Boss Baby at the movies!

Let's see what else we did that wasn't photographed.  Raegan came to play three days.  Peyton came to play a couple of days.  We ventured to the library.  Did some painting.  Played outside when we could.  Worked on our garden.  Watched movies.  I was getting over strep throat (for the 3rd time since November, for those of you who are counting) so I was a little bleh and tired.  But we made it, we had fun, and now the countdown to summer is on!
