We headed to Gulf Shores, AL at around 9 AM Christmas morning. It was a 6-7 hour trip, but we luckily gained an hour. We arrived later in the afternoon, checked into the house, and enjoyed the amazing views and sunset while we waited for everyone else to arrive!
You know pictures never do sunsets justice. It was amazingly beautiful.
The next day, we hung out at the beach... the weather was just perfect! (mid-70s and sunny) Jen, Taylor, and Ava were brave enough to get in the ocean. Me... not so much. ;) Mom and I went on a beach walk/seashell hunt in the morning. We went out to lunch and to some shops in the afternoon. We hung out the rest of the day/night at the house!
The next day, we went to a military fort to look around. Some went on a ferry to an island nearby, while the rest of us went to lunch and then to a go-kart fun place. They played volleyball and football on the beach, and we took some family pics. That night, my brother, sister, and in-laws went out to a bar, while mom and Aunt Katherine watched the kiddos.
