The Rest of April!

 Besides Spring Break, Easter, and the Optimist Club Award, here is what else we did in April!

Sydney- Optimist Club Award

 I am so proud of Sydney.  She has had a wonderful 8th grade year, and, to top it all off, she was picked to be the Optimist Club's "Student of the Year"!  Each year, they pick a boy and a girl 5th, 8th, and 11th grader for this award.  Out of the ~550 8th grade students at our school, they picked Sydney!

They celebrated with a breakfast, and called each person up and gave them their awards.  Our principal and the 8th grade AP joined us.  It was a great morning!

Easter

Spring Break

 We had a good spring break- we spent half the week in Nashville and half the week at home.  Taylor's team had a tournament near Nashville the first weekend, so we spent an extra 2 nights at my brother's house in Nashville afterwards!
