Europe Trip- Day 6

Today, we said goodbye to Stephen's family... we had the best time with them!  We headed on a train to Gothenburg, Sweden, which was about a 5 hour train ride from Uppsala.  This day consisted mostly of riding the train and heading to our (amazing) VRBO house.

We had to take a bus and then walk a short distance to the house.

The house was so big, nice and modern!

Europe Trip- Day 5

Today, the 5 of us went into Stockholm!  We rode the train into the city, and we got to explore.  It is a beautiful city with a mixture of both old and new.

First, we checked out Gamla Stan, an older section of Stockholm.  It has cute shops, restaurants, and the Royal Palace.  We got to see the Changing of the Guards!

We checked out the more modern section of Stockholm, too.  We had to hit up Lululemon, of course, amongst other places!

We had to get all the Swedish candy...

When we got back to Uppsala, we hung out and then went back to Stephen's aunt's restaurant.  

The girls told her they'd share a cheese pizza (they had gotten their own one night and told her they could just share one this time).  Well, his aunt wants to make sure everyone is fed, and she wasn't happy with them sharing one smaller pizza... so she made them a HUGE one! ;)  It was too funny!

Taylor had mentioned wanting hotdogs the day before, so her aunt answered!  This was WITH the giant pizza!

This was around 10 PM!  The sky never really got dark.

Europe Trip- Day 4

Today was the National Day of Sweden, so no one had to work!  We got to hang out with Stephen's aunt, Panteha, her husband Andreas and their three kids, along with Pedram.  We went to downtown Uppsala and explored the cute town.  

We then went to Panteha's house, and the kids jumped on the trampoline and went to the nearby playground to play.
