Taylor's team played in a tournament in Myrtle Beach. It was something to be excited about, EXCEPT... we had to leave 2 days after Sydney's surgery. Stephen and I decided that I'd take her and he would stay back (he definitely has more strength to pick her up, etc). I hated leaving her, but I made the trek to the beach with Taylor and her teammate Lily.
The great news is that a) Sydney thrived under nurse Stephen's care, and b) the beach was a total blast!

Sydney had her left knee surgery on June 21! It stinks it happened in the middle of the summer, but she had a really good attitude about it. She said she's glad that this will be the last surgery, and she can focus on recovering now (and not having it hang in the back of her mind that she has a surgery coming up).
It went well- the doctor said her knee is tracking straight, they replaced her MPFL ligament, and cleaned out some cartilage. So far, her recover has been much better/quicker than her last surgery, so I hope it continues!
