8th Grade Dance

 Sydney had her 8th grade dance this month!  I had to miss it- I was at my niece's graduation.  She had "8th grade day" at school that day (including walking to the high school and doing karaoke, plus a CFA lunch) and got checked out by her friend's mom.  They got ready, and Stephen and Parker met up with them in another neighborhood to take pictures!  She had a blast!

They went to Wahoo afterwards, and then spent the night at one of the girls' houses. 

Parker- Spring Baseball

 Parker played baseball this spring, and it was a fun change-of-pace from the fast sports of flag football and basketball.  He seemed to enjoy it!  His team ended up making it all the way to the finals (which was pretty unexpected) but lost by 3 runs in the championship game!  They still got rings, which I think is all Parker cared about. ;)

Knoxville

Taylor's basektball team played in a tournament earlier this month in Knoxville.  It is always a fun time, so we made a little family weekend trip out of it!

Because of Taylor's broken wrist, she wasn't able to play... but she was the best watergirl/cheerleader there was! ;)

Their first game was at 4:00 PM on Friday, and since T wasn't playing, we didn't leave school early to make it to the game.  We rode up later that evening, and our friend Jenny (one of the player's moms) rode with us!

Taylor's team ended up being 2nd place out of 34 teams from all over the midwest and south (including VA, WV, Missouri, Indiana, etc).  They played amazingly, even without Taylor and another starter, who ended up fracturing HER wrist in the final game :(  

It was a great weekend!
