Parker went to a day camp in July. The camp is normally an overnight camp, but they have groups of counselors that come to local churches and spend a week at a time there. Parker attended this camp the week before school started, and he had fun!

Sydney- Cocoa Beach
Sydney was living the dream this summer. Gatlinburg with her uncle/aunt/cousins; Europe; Myrtle Beach with a friend; and then Cocoa Beach with a friend and her family.

4th of July (Actual)
For the actual 4th of July, we had a nice pool day in the neighborhood pool, followed by a party at our neighbor's house and pool, followed by fireworks in the neighborhood! I didn't take a lot of pics, but it was a fun, relaxing day.
4th of July (Mountain House)
We spent the weekend before the 4th of July at the mountain house. While I was doing a ton of work/painting around the house, we were able to squeeze in some fun as well.

Myrtle Beach
Three days after we got back from Europe, we left for Myrtle Beach for Taylor's basketball tournament! We knew this was going to happen and tried to be mentally and physically prepared, but it was kind of a lot.
Taylor's team did awesome- out of 24 rising 7th grade teams, they won the whole thing! Teams were from Maryland, Virginia, W. Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri and more. Taylor unfortunately didn't get to play much, with this being the first time she's played since getting her cast off. BUT, she got in some time and tried to make an impact when she was in.
Parker and Sydney both brought friends, so it was a really fun weekend for everybody!
