September!

September was a BUSY month for us!  Starting with Colorado, then Homecoming for Sydney and Taylor, then Sydney's 17th, Parker's 13th, fall break, sports... whew!  It was a month that was both really long and also really short.  Time is weird.

Anyways, besides all of the above, here are some of the other things we did in September!

Rowland Family Get-Together: (my grandmother and her sister were the Rowlands... this is a reunion of all the cousins!  Mainly the girls, but some of the boys stopped by, too).

Mid-life crisis?  I got a 2nd piercing.  Luckily, my hole from middle school was still there (just closed) so they just could re-pierce it!

Parker is 13!

Somehow, time keeps moving on... and I now have three teenagers in the house!  

Parker is 13!!  We celebrated with a sleepover with a few friends, a jumpy place the next day, and then presents/dinner out with our family. 

It's too bad he doesn't have much of a personality. ;)

I love his facial expressions when he opens presents. :)

Hilton Head Island!

Stephen, Taylor, Parker and I planned a very last minute getaway to Hilton Head Island!  This is probably my favorite beach- it doesn't have the turquoise water like the Gulf does, but I love how uncommercialized it is.  I also love that you can bike almost anywhere!

The weather was gorgeous, we really lucked out.  We had a great time!

Meanwhile, Sydney was down in Seaside, FL with her friends Celia, Hannah, and Leighton!  She celebrated her 17th birthday while down there!
