We rang in the new year in a casual way- we had some friends over, we grilled out, played games, watched football, and actually stayed up until midnight to watch the ball drop in Times Square. All in my comfortable sweatpants and hoodie. Woot!
We played the saran wrap ball game, as seen on You Tube.
One person starts unwrapping the saran wrap ball filled with goodies, while their neighbor tries to roll doubles.
Once doubles are rolled, the ball is passed to the next person (and so are the dice).
The process continues until the ball is all the way undone.
The object is to try to get as many items out of the wrapped ball as possible. They're yours to keep!
It was so much fun!
The last prize was a whopping dollar!
Oh, the agony of defeat when you see those doubles rolled!

She made it to midnight... but this was Taylor at approximately 12:01 AM.
New years day was spent mostly hanging out inside... it was cold and wet outside, and Parker had been recovering from a yucky stomach bug. It was actually a productive day- a great way to start the new year! Will this productivity last?... we shall see! (Probably not ;)
