Mountain House

We started summer off with a bang!  The last week of school was super busy, between the awards days, final swim lessons, class parties, themed days, packing, etc.  We checked the kiddos out from school early on Friday and headed up to the mountain house!  Luckily, we missed most of the traffic and bad weather that was predicted, and made it up in about 3 hours.

I didn't take too many pictures, but it was a fun weekend with family and friends.  My cousin Melissa got married in Greenville, SC Saturday morning.  It was HOT but luckily the rain held off for the outside ceremony.  It was a beautiful wedding and reception!

It rained on and off most of the weekend, but the kiddos were able to squeeze in some good lake time on Saturday.  We got to catch up with friends we hadn't seen since last summer, went to chapel, took some golf cart rides, went to the nearby ice cream shoppe, did the annual picnic/square dance, and had a nice time!
