Taylor is 12!

 My Taylor is 12!!  It's hard to believe in some ways, and in some ways I feel like it is very fitting.  Middle School has hit her hard, but luckily in a good way!  She's fixing her hair, wearing "cool" clothes, facetiming and tik-toking, and all the other things tweens do!

We celebrated Taylor for a few days!  First was the night before her birthday.  She had a basketball game on her actual birthday, so we split her presents up some.

I had the cutest video of Taylor opening her next present, but it's too big to upload!  She had really wanted this specific pair of Nike's.  Three days before her birthday, she was showing them to me, but they were sold out in all the stores where we looked online.  After she went to bed, I kept looking and found them in her size!  I ordered them, fully thinking they'd come in a week or so and be a Christmas gift.  They arrived the day before her birthday!!!  I couldn't believe it!  (neither could she, apparently ;) ) Here are some of her facial expressions from the video. On her actual birthday, Taylor had a basketball game.  They had a big win, and we celebrated with cupcakes afterwards!

We went to dinner at Longhorn's with Grandmom after the game!

I promise Sydney is having fun in life.  She thinks it's funny not to smile in pictures lately. ;)

We ran into some friends at the restaurant, and they sent Taylor a birthday dessert!

The next morning at FCA, they called all the December birthdays up!  Taylor and her friend Brenley got to go up together.

She got her annual age in $$ from Uncle Bill!  I sure wish I could get that gift.

A couple weeks after her birthday, we had her birthday party at Main Event!

Taylor has brought us so much joy (and many laughs!) in her 12 years! :)
