Summer- Week 9

This was a short, last week of summer... the kiddos start back to school tomorrow (Thursday)!

It has been a good summer, overall. I always have all these plans in my head (go to the library each week! Do a chore chart! Do lots of summer reading! Go to a bunch of parks!), most of which did not happen this summer. ;) The broken leg threw a wrench in some things, but maybe it was a nice excuse to slow things down this summer.

I'm sad that summer is over, but I feel like summer's expiration date has arrived. I think we're all ready to be in a routine!

Summer- Week 8

This was our last full week of summer! Sniff sniff.

The girls had mandatory team camp each night this week from 7-8:30, so my plans of having them go to bed earlier and waking up earlier went by the wayside. Stephen was out of town for 3 days this week while we meanwhile tried to salvage these last days of summer!

Besides camp each night, this was some of what we did this week:

Going into 5th and 6th grades... sure, those outfits will work...;)

The kids got the biggest kick out of this. We took the dolls by CFA, and they posted pictures on their FB page throughout the evening and next morning of the dolls hanging out.
