Nature Scavenger Hunt

We beat the heat this morning and did a photo nature scavenger hunt around the neighborhood!

Here's the list:

And here's what we found:

1.  Green leaf: 

2.  A rock that's a big as your hand, or bigger:

3.  Pinecone:

Notice Sydney's fake "in pain" face.

4.  Blue Flower:  The one thing we couldn't find :(  Darn hydrangeas didn't bloom this year!

5 & 7. Orange Flower/Purple Flower:  

We found both of these together.  One stop shop!

6.  Yellow Flower:

8.  A stick shaped like a Y:

9.  Something red:

10.  A beautiful rock:

The picture doesn't show it, but that middle rock was shimmering in the sun.

11.  A big leaf:

12.  A funny-shaped leaf:

It looked like a rocket in person.

13.  A plant that is taller than you!

It was fun!
