Spring Break

We had a nice Staycation this spring break!  We juggled work, doctor's appointments and other day-to-day stuff with entertaining the kiddos, which isn't always an easy task!  But we had a really great week.  (It was especially nice not having any games or practices!)

Saturday:
Our first Saturday since Christmas break without a game!  We met my brother and his family for lunch (on their way back to Nashville from Florida).  The rest of the day, neighborhood friends came over to play, we played on the basketball court, and just had a nice, chill day.  We ended the night with movie night and a sleepover on the couches downstairs.

Sunday:
After church, Taylor went with her friend Abby to the Hawks' game.  The rest of us had another chill day, hanging out at the house!

Monday:
We met our friends for lunch, and the kids got to play.  Later that afternoon, we met other friends at the park.  It was a beautiful day!

Sydney lost a tooth!  Third tooth in 8 days. 😳

Tuesday:

We spent the day at my parents' house, helping out with my dad who's recovering from surgery.

Wednesday:

We met friends at a trampoline park, and went to lunch.  That night, we went to a Braves game!

Thursday:

Today was designated to be "chill at home and don't complain" day. ;). We had a movie night tonight!

Friday:

We went to Stars & Strikes today, and grilled out that night.

Saturday:

Today, we met our friend Kelly and her kiddos at Six Flags!  It was a perfect weather day to go, and it wasn't too crowded.  We spent about 6 hours there- it was fun.  Afterwards, Stephen and Parker went to the Georgia Tech baseball game, while I drove Sydney to Acworth for her friend's birthday sleepover party.  Taylor and I had a little "girl's night out" and did some shopping and got some froyo.

Sunday:

After getting Sydney from the sleepover party, we had "Spring Cleaning Day!"  The kids didn't once complain- JK! (as Taylor likes to say).  They weren't super happy, but they had to pick up rocks around our yard and ended up playing a game with finding the coolest rocks.  Sydney's friend Parker from the neighborhood even joined in on the fun.  Stephen did yard stuff and I went room by room and did some deep cleaning.  Not a super fun day, but it feels good to have a clean house!
