April, summed up

Life has been so hectic lately.  I tell you, having 3 kids in 3 different sport's leagues with a traveling husband is not an easy challenge.  I never want to discourage my kids from being active and playing a sport or doing some kind of hobby, but it also makes for busy evenings.  So many times I have to be in two places at once.  And our normal 6:00 dinner time and 7:30/8:00 bedtimes have now been moved to 8:00 dinner times and 9:00/9:30 bedtimes, sometimes after 10 for Sydney(!!).

Sydney has soccer practice Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, then games on Saturday and Sunday.  Taylor has soccer practice Tuesday and Thursday evenings (20 minutes from Sydney's practice location) and games on Saturday.  Parker has baseball randomly, usually one night during the week and Saturdays and sometimes Sundays.

I think another thing that makes it tough is that all three leagues should have ended May 4th... but, because of rained out games, we're now going until the 18th.  Mentally, I thought we'd be done by now!

Anyways, sports are just our evenings and weekends.  Gotta throw in work, PTA, school activities, end of year volunteering needs, trying to keep a clean house, school work, friends, birthday parties, family, church events, Milestones prep, pet sitting, etc... yes, we're tired and ready for summer.

But all is good.  Besides spring break, Easter, and field trips, here is what our April looked like:

Parker and Chloe have had lots of hanging out time at the soccer fields.

Meanwhile, Taylor went to the ATL United 2 game for a birthday party:

The stomach bug hit our house in the same week :(

A little snapshot of our month, that flew by!  Can't believe we're down to only a couple of more weeks of school.
