Vacay- Day 5

Today was our last full day in Florida, and we headed back to the Magic Kingdom!  We wanted to get in some of the rides we couldn't do on Tuesday, and repeat the ones we really liked.  The weather looked bad after about 2 PM, so we got there first thing and hit the ground running.

On Taylor's half-birthday (June 1) she lost a tooth!  The tooth fairy came and apparently brought her BFF Tinkerbell with her.

We rode lots of rides in the morning- the weather was overcast with some drizzle (but it was so HOT that it felt great).

Space Mountain.  That was no joke.

We were in line for Big Thunder Railroad when they closed the ride down due to lightning in the vicinity.  At this point, it was probably 3 PM.  I was trying to convince Stephen that it would be smarter to try to do something inside, as the weather map didn't look promising.  He convinced me to wait it out a few minutes.  People kept leaving, so we were slowly creeping up towards the beginning of the line.  Finally, after about 25 minutes, they opened the ride back up.  People were cheering!  They were cheering even more as their train came back after the ride, and they were completely SOAKED!  The lightning may have gone away, but the rain was in full-force!  The people were loving it.  We finally got down to the front, ponchos and all, and braved the rain.  It was cold, wet, and a little hard (those droplets would shift my contacts in my eyes!) but it was an absolute blast.  It was definitely one to remember.  Then, since it was raining, we headed to Splash Mountain to ride that one more time.  We got soaked even more!  (notice there are no pictures... my phone was packed up tightly in plastic bags!)

We were going to meet our family friends Lynley and Paul at a restaurant outside Disney- thankfully, it worked out for us to have time to run back to the condo, shower, and change before meeting them.  Every article of clothing on us was completely soaked!

We headed back to dinner to meet them.  The kids were completely exhausted, falling asleep at the dinner table... but it was great to meet up with Lynley and Paul and their two cute little boys.

Going to sleep that night didn't take long, I can promise you that!

Day 6 was travel home day... when we landed in Atlanta, only 2/3 of the car seats arrived with our plane, and 0/4 bags arrived.  They were all on a plane coming 4 hours later!  Plus, my phone wasn't working because it got some moisture on it from Friday.  Back to reality! ;).

It was a fantastic trip, I'm so thankful for all of our experiences and memories that were made.
