Pigeon Forge- Day 2

The weather looked iffy all weekend, so we decided to plan our days the night before.  If you haven't been to Pigeon Forge before, please note that anything you can ever imagine doing for entertainment is there... times 5.  It almost made it harder to plan- not only was it hard to narrow down what to do, but which location to do it.

First thing, my mom, sister, and I went on a walk around the neighborhood.  The mountains are really beautiful in this area.

We then decided to start off by going to the Alpine Slide.  This is a cross between a little train and a roller coaster.  You're in your own cart (up to 2 people) and you have a brake.  You go up this track- up, up, up to the top of the ride, and then you go DOWN!  Super fast!  Like, 30 mph.  You can brake, like the cautious person I am... or not brake, like the crazy people that are some of my relatives.  It was an absolutely blast.

The Alpine Slide had an area where you could pan for gold, so the kids did that for a bit.

Next, we headed to this place called The Island.  The Island is a great place where you can enjoy rides, shop, eat, do bumper cars, they had a sky walk, arcades, and more.  You could literally spend a whole day here.  We first ate lunch, and then we hung out in the arcade.

After a little while of being at The Island, we decided to split up.  Mom and Dad went back to the cabin. My sister and her fam, Stephen, and Sydney decided to go and do a big ropes course/sky walk thing at a different place.

Jen, Bill, Olivia, Ava, Taylor, Parker and I stayed at The Island.  We did the sky walk, rode the rides, rode the big Ferris Wheel, visited the candy shop, and more!

After a few hours, we headed back to the cabin.  We were sunburnt (weather called for rain- that so didn't happen!), hot, and tired!

My brother and his wife grilled out for dinner, and we again hung out that night.  It was a fun day!
