Cali- Day 4

Well, just as the girls seem to adjust more to Pacific time and sleep in a little bit (until 5 AM this time, and we all crammed into our bed to sleep until 6 AM!), it is our time to leave! :(  When we got up, we started packing all of our things, getting everything ready and together, trying to make sure we didn't forget anything.  Ashley made us a delicious breakfast, we told Mike goodbye as he went off to work, and we enjoyed our last couple of hours together. 

We said our goodbyes and left their house around 10:45 to head to SFO.  We made great timing, dropped off our "California Car" (a.k.a. rental car), made it through security, and got to our gate.  We ate lunch at a restaurant in our terminal, did a little souvenir shopping, and then finally boarded the plane around 2:45.  Off we went!  I was a little more worried about this trip, seeing as though it was like 5:45 PM our time when it left, and the girls are normally asleep around 7 PM.  They were unbelievable again!  Taylor easily slept half the flight, and Sydney was all about watching some Dora.  We didn't land until a little after 10 PM, and considering how late it was, the girls were acting great.  We changed them in their PJs before we put them in the car, and carried them straight to bed when we got home.

Whew, we made it!  It was such a great trip!!!!  I am thankful to have the memories and the time spent with friends and family.
